I have been known for making hard boiled eggs that are the ugliest things you have seen. Ill-shapen, and deformed, they look more like a meteor. Did I get all the shells off? Was there any egg left to eat? Nope, all the egg is still stuck to the shell! I have cussed and screamed while attempting to peel them to no avail. The good new is, I will never again make hard boiled eggs without using my Ninja Foodi. The good news for you, is you will not have to either! Ninja Foodi Hard Boiled Eggs

Do you really need a recipe to make the perfect hard boiled eggs? My mom taught me, however the list of tips and tricks to make them perfect were ridiculous! You need a doctorate degree in cooking to remember the many tips on how to make sure they were done and the shells would come off completely and easily. Boil the water. Make sure to add salt in order to make the shells come off easily. Only boil for 10 minutes. Is it a rolling boil or a regular boil? Do you wait for the eggs to be old because new egg shells do not easily come off? Or is it the other way around? Who knows! No matter how hard I tried, more times than not, FAILED attempt.

Ninja Food Pressure Cook

For this recipe, you will use the pressure cook feature of your Ninja Foodi. No matter how many eggs you wish to make, the recipe is the same.

To pressure cook in your Ninja Foodi, you need liquid. The first step is to add one cup of water to your removable cooking pot. Insert the reversible rack to the pot. Place it into the steam (lower) position.

Position as many eggs as you wish onto the reversible rack.

To make Ninja Foodi Hard Boiled Eggs add as many eggs as you wish to cook

Put on the pressure lid. Make sure the lid is sealed. Click pressure, keep it in the high setting, and set the timer for 8 minutes.

Set the Ninja Foodi to pressure for 8 minutes on high

After cooking for 8 minutes, do not quick release. Instead, allow for a natural release for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes, release the remaining steam by moving the lever to vent.

Using tongs, remove the eggs and place them immediately into a bowl of ice water. The ice bath should cover the eggs. Leave them for at least 5 minutes or until cool.
