This momma does not have time to make homemade anything. In fact, if there is a frozen option available, I will use it every single time. Using the air fryer has taken frozen mini corn dogs to the next level. No need to deal with wet batters, scalding oil splattering your arms from a deep fryer, or the stress of the perfect batter consistency. These mini corn dogs in the air fryer are easy with a capital YES!
Mini Corn Dogs In Air Fryer
Whether you are making an easy snack or a quick lunch, use your air fryer for the perfect corn dog. After using this cooking method, you will never use the conventional oven again.
I have the Ninja Foodi Deluxe 9 in 1 with an 8 quart air fryer. I was able to make about 24 mini corn dogs at one time. You can use any air fryer oven for this recipe.
I prefer corn dog nuggets over full size corn dogs. They are bite size and easier to eat without the stick.
Ingredients:
The ingredients for this recipe include a box of your favorite frozen mini corn dogs and any dipping sauces you prefer.
I like the State Fair brand corn dog. There are many different brands on the market but this brand is my family’s favorite because the batter has a little bit of a sweet flavor an I feel as if they crisp up nicely.

Air Fryer Mini Corn Dogs:
The best way to make frozen mini corn dogs is in the air fryer.
Place corn dogs in a single layer in the bottom of the air fryer basket. You do not need to use any type of cooking spray or extra oil. The batter on the corn dogs already has enough oil for them to sufficiently crisp.

Set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 12 minutes. I like my corn dogs crispy. If you like your corn dogs a bit chewy then reduce the cooking time to 10 minutes.
I took my basket out with oven mitts and shook the corn dogs after 6 minutes. You can also flip them using tongs.
The air fryer cook times for mini corn dogs will vary depending on the brand of your air fryer. I recommend watching them closely.

I normally do not pre-heat my Ninja when air frying. If you do pre-heat your air fryer or if your air fryer pre-heats on its own, you may wish to take 1-2 minutes off your cooking time. If you make more than one batch of mini corn dogs, the air fryer will be heated already. The next batch will take a little less time. You should plan the second batch taking about 10 minutes.
Remove the mini corn dogs with tongs.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Dipping Sauces For Mini Corn Dogs In Air Fryer
What dipping sauces should I consider for my mini corn dogs? Of course, there is the traditional ketchup and mustard. You should also consider trying Ranch or Thousand Island Dressing, Chic-Fil-A sauce, or even Yum Yum Sauce. If you are looking for a bit of spicy, I love Sweet Thai Chili Sauce.
Reheating Mini Corn Dogs
If you have any leftover mini corn dogs (we never do), store them in an airtight container until you are ready to eat them. You should reheat them using your air fryer. Place them back into the air fryer. Set the temperature to 390 degrees and air fry for around 8 minutes, flipping them halfway.
