A burger without cheese is a hug without a squeeze. This super simple recipe for making a hamburgers in Ninja Foodi Deluxe will become your go to recipe for making hamburgers in the future. No need to fire up the grill, these juicy hamburgers are ready a couple of minutes. Let’s get started!

Why choose the Ninja Foodi 9 in 1 to make hamburgers?
Summer in Florida is super hot so standing over a hot outdoor grill in the 90-100 degree weather is not something that thrills me. In addition, it is normally raining every afternoon or evening during the summer so using the grill is normally not an option.
The Ninja Foodi 11 in 1 has been one of the most incredible kitchen gadgets I have purchased. This is an instant pot or pressure cooker and a traditional air fryer, all in one. Not only does it air fry and pressure cooks, this nifty piece of kitchen hardware can saute’, bake, and even slow cook to name a few of the many features.

Ninja Foodi Hamburgers
For this recipe, you will need fresh ground beef of your choice, any burger ingredients you like to include, cheese should you wish to make cheeseburgers, condiments for your burgers, and buns.
I love to include some amazing seasoning in my burger meat. The addition of a packet of onion soup mix, garlic powders, Cavender’s Greek Seasoning, worchestershire sauce, and bacon pieces adds the perfect amount of seasoning as well as juiciness to the burgers. Trust me! Once you make your burger patties like this, you will never do it any other way.
Ingredients
I used about 1 pound of lean ground beef which made four nice size hamburgers. I recommend using beef that is at least 80% lean or ground chuck. This means the burger will not cook down to nothing and there is little grease.
In a small bowl, add the meat, a packet of beefy onion soup mix, about 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce,1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, salt and pepper, as well as add about 2.5 ounce package of bacon pieces.

I absolutely love Cavender’s Greek Seasoning. This seasoning mixture is something I use in most every recipe as it includes Salt, Black Pepper, Corn Starch, Garlic, Monosodium Glutamate, Oregano, Flavor Base Seasoning (Hydrolyzed Corn Soy Protein, Sugar, Onion Powder, Spice Extractives), Parsley and Five Other Spices. You can purchase it at your local grocery store, Walmart, or even on Amazon.
How Do You Make Hamburgers In Ninja Foodi?
Combine all ingredients. I use my hands in order to get all the ingredients combined. Divide the meat mixture into equal parts and form 4 hamburger patties. Place burger patties into the removable pot of the Ninja Foodi. Hit the saute’ button, set the temperature to high, and select start. Saute’ the beef burgers about 2-3 minutes. Flip the burger patty and saute’ another 2-3 minutes.

Transition the hamburger patties from the inner pot. Insert the cook and crisp basket with the diverter (legs attached) as well as the rack into the bottom of the pot. Place the burger patties on the rack. Four hamburger patties fit perfectly in the 8 quart version I have.

Close the air crisp lid which is attached. Hit the air crisp button. Set the temperature to 375 degrees and the cooking time to 8 minutes for medium well hamburgers. After 4 minutes flip burgers patties. Should you wish to make cheeseburgers, place cheese slice on top of each patty after 2 minutes. Continue air frying for the last two minutes.

Should you wish medium doneness, reduce the cook time from 8 minutes to 7 minutes.
After flipping the patties and air crisp cooking for 4 minutes total, 2 minutes and then adding cheese for the last two minutes, remove the burgers.

Serve on a bun with your favorite condiments such as mayonaise, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles.
Enjoy.

Keto Hamburgers In Ninja Foodi
As mentioned in several of my other recipes, I am diabetic. These burgers are great without the bun because they are so juicy and flavorful. I eat them bunless but with all the condiments and toppings. You can also eat them in a lettuce wrap. Add another slice of cheese to give youreself even more.
Hamburger Internal Temperatures
How do you like your burger cooked? Whether you like your burgers well done, medium, or medium rare, a meat thermometer is a must. Insert your thermometer horizontally from the side to reach the thickest part of the burger.
Be sure to keep mind a burger continues to cook after removing them from the heat. Take them them off 5˚ to 10˚ before they reach their ideal temp.
Here are a list of temperatures for ground beef:
- The USDA recommends a temperature of between 160˚ to 165˚ as the minimum. This will give you a well-done beef burger, meaning there aren’t any signs of pink in the center.
- Medium-well: 150˚ to 155˚
- Medium: 140˚ to 145˚
- Medium-rare: 130˚ to 135˚
Tips For An Easier Clean Up
Cooking hamburgers can be messy. The grease as well as the air fried cheese can take quite a bit of soaking and a whole lot of Dawn Powerwash to remove.
If you would like easy clean up with minimal effort, I recommend lining the removable pot as well as the cook and crisp basket with aluminum foil. You can also use an aluminum pan to catch the grease and meat drippings.
In summary
If you are looking for a super easy recipe for the perfect burger the whole family will be drooling over, this recipe for hamburgers in the Ninja Foodi 9 in 1 is it! These burgers are a game changer. Using the Ninja Foodi is the best option for a delicious burger without the heat of the grill.
