Do you need a Ninja Foodi To Make This Recipe?

Do you need the Ninja Foodi to make this recipe? The entire pizza bake can be made in the Ninja Foodi but you do not need a Ninja Foodi to make it. If you do not have a Ninja Foodi, instead make this recipe using your stovetop, microwave, and oven.

If you do not have a Ninja Foodi, you should get one. If you have not purchased one yet, buy a steamable bag of cauliflower and make it in the microwave. Brown your Italian sausage on the stove top. Combine all the ingredients in an oven safe casserole dish and use your oven to bake.

Low Carb Ninja Foodi Pizza Bake

If you do have a Ninja Foodi, you can make this entire recipe in one pot. It is easy clean up and can be made in about 30 minutes.

Steaming Frozen Cauliflower in the Ninja Foodi

Place 1/2 cup of water and the contents of a 12-14 ounce bag of frozen cauliflower into the Cook & Crisp Basket and place basket in removable pot. Assemble pressure lid, making sure the pressure release valve is in the VENT position. Select STEAM. Set time to 7 minutes. Remove the basket.

the first step in making the Ninja Foodi Pizza Bake is to steam the cauliflower

Sauté the Italian Sausage in the Ninja Foodi

Drain any leftover water from steaming the cauliflower. In the removable pot, add one pound of Italian sausage. I chose mild, but you can choose any flavor sausage you prefer. Set the Ninja Foodi to sauté on high heat. Using a plastic spatula so as to not scratch the coating on the removable pot, stir frequently until the sausage is browned. Drain any excess grease

Using the sauté feature, brown the italian sausage

Construct the Ninja Foodi Pizza Bake

The Ninja Foodi should remain on sauté. Cut the steamed cauliflower into small pieces and add to the removable pot that contains the browned Italian sausage. Choose the toppings you wish to include. I like to add pepperoni (just gauge how many you think it enough), frozen peppers and onions. Some other toppings may include: mushrooms, olives, ham, pineapple, etc. Throw these toppings into the pot.

Cut up the steamed cauliflower into small pieces

Stir in 2 cups of low carb pizza sauce or marinara sauce. Add 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Combine all ingredients.

Combine all the ingredients.

Sauté for about 10 minutes on high heat, stirring until the vegetables are no longer crunchy.

Using the Ninja Foodi To Make A Bake

Top the ingredients in the removable pot with 12 ounces of mozzarella cheese.

Add mozzarella cheese to the top.

Shut the cook and crisp lid and set to bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and browned.

The final step in making the Ninja Foodi Pizza Bake is to bake the cheese for about 8 minutes
