Juicy, Tender Crockpot Keto Pot Roast

Are you looking for a juicy crockpot Keto Pot Roast recipe? Look no further. This recipe is incredibly simple. The result is a moist, extremely flavorful pot roast that falls apart. No knife needed!

Why Should You Use A Crockpot To Make A Keto Pot Roast?

Why should you use a crockpot to make your pot roast? The answer is two fold. Using a crockpot to make your pot roast will result in your meat being tender and juicy. You will not even have to use a knife to cut this roast. The second reason to use a crockpot is simply convenience. Set your crockpot in the morning and return in the evening with a meal already prepared. This is a no brainer for me. I even put my roast into the crockpot frozen.

Though you can use your oven for this recipe, using a crockpot provides you the convenience of coming home to a meal already prepared. If you use your oven, you will want to have defrosted your roast and you will need to bake it at least two and a half hours to get the same tender, juicy meat. I also recommend using a baking pan with a lid.

Have you ever left the house and forgot to turn the crockpot on? I absolutely love my WiFi controlled crockpot. You can utilize an application on your phone to turn it on, change the temperature, and set a cooking timer.

I used a beef chuck roast for this recipe. My frozen roast was 2.75 pounds. I had taken the roast out of the freezer the night before and put it into the refrigerator, therefore the meat was only thawed enough to come out of the styrofoam container.

If you roast is frozen like mine, add 1/2 cup of water to the bottom of the crockpot. If it is defrosted, add one cup of water. Then, simply place your roast into the crockpot.
