Not only is this where you go to hear great country music, it is also a top destination for bachelorette and bachelor parties, as well as breweries, distilleries, and general outdoor fun.
With roughly 350 plus hotels in the area, it can be overwhelming to decide where you should stay. Do you want to be in the middle of the action? Do you want to be in walking distance of all of the attractions? Are you looking to use your hotel as a base to travel to other parts of Tennessee? When choosing a hotel. these are all things one should consider.
We chose the Bobby Hotel and could not have been more happier with our choice. Here are five reasons to book a stay at this unique hotel in Nashville.
Reason One: Best hotel location in Nashville
Location means everything when staying in Nashville. Do you want to be in Downtown Nashville or near Music Row? You want to be near the action, near the bars, clubs, and music. The Bobby Hotel is near the action, but not right smack dab in the middle. This is a good thing because there is quite a bit of noise on and around Broadway.
The Bobby Hotel is within blocks of Broadway where all of the bars and fun is located in Nashville. In fact, when we stayed, we walked almost everywhere to include downtown to the Nelson’s Green Briar Distillery. That was probably too far to walk as we did take an Uber back, but you get the idea. The Bobby Hotel is near the action.
Reason 2: Boutique Hotel Instead of a Chain
Book a room at the Bobby Hotel because it has ambiance. Now, I do not know about you, but I am sick of chain hotels. They all look and feel the same. If you have seen one you have seen them all. This is not the case with the Bobby Hotel. The hotel decor is eclectic. There is not a better word for the mixture of styles between farmhouse wood and 70’s rock in the hotel lobby. If you are looking for a boutique hotel instead of a chain, the Bobby will not disappoint.
The chandelier in the hotel lobby is so eccentric–made of car parts coupled with crystals.
Reason 3: Exceptional Hotel Room in Nashville
As stated in reason number 2, this is not your ordinary hotel. This hotel has style and class you will not see in a chain hotel. The rooms did not disappoint.
There are several rooms choices but even the standard was exceptional. First of all, it is massive! There is a large entertainment center that includes the closet and dresser, mini bar that you can purchase snacks and drinks, as well the TV.
The decor is red and gray which is definitely different from the chain hotels. There is a seating area as well as a large mural that is located behind the bed.
The most unique part of the room, in my opinion, is the bathroom. The bathroom walls were made of wrought iron material, opaque glass, as well as a sliding barn door.
Reason 4: The Rooftop Bar
The rooftop bar is one of a kind. There is a large bus on the roof of the hotel with seating within for bar patrons. In addition, there is a lovely view of the skyline of Tennessee.
Reason 5: The Hotel Dog
The hotel’s dog is reason number 5 to choose this unique hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Yes, you read that correctly. The dog. The Bobby has a live-in dog named Sasha and she is just perfect. She will greet you when you come back from a day out and will lay on the hotel lobby’s ottoman encouraging you to pet her. She is adorable and chill just like the property.
Sasha is a rescue dog who was adopted by the hotel. To give back, the hotel has set up a charity to help the Country Road Animal Rescue from which Sasha was adopted. You can purchase a hand towel with a rendering of Sasha for $25 and that donation goes directly to the animal shelter! How cool!
If you choose to travel with your dog, the Bobby Hotel is pet-friendly.

The Bobby Hotel is a truly unique hotel in Nashville, TN. Located in downtown Nashville, the hotel is positioned within walking distance of all Nashville has to offer. The rooms are spacious, the rooftop bar and other restaurants on the property are unique and delicious, and you get to meet the hotel’s dog, Sasha! Should you wish to bring your own furry friend on vacation with you, the Bobby Hotel is also pet friendly.
