Be a Rock Star–The Verb Hotel in Boston

Are you searching for a hotel while visiting Boston, Massachusetts? Be a rock star. Stay at the Verb Hotel in Boston. Voted by Trivago as one of the “coolest” hotels in Boston, I made it a point to book a stay at the Verb when traveling to Boston over the summer.

Why Choose the Verb Hotel?

  • The location: The Verb is located across the street from Fenway Park. We planned to see a Red Sox game at Fenway so staying at The Verb was the perfect spot. We did not have to battle traffic or pay for an Uber to get to Fenway. Instead, we simply walked through the rear parking lot and arrived at the stadium in about one minute. This was especially convenient after the game!

  • It is unique: Pull up to the Verb Hotel and you already feel as if you have taken a step back in time to the old days of Rock n Roll. In addition to the tour bus in the parking lot, the decor of the hotel revolves around Rock n Roll memorabilia. From the lobby, to the toilet paper and bathroom door in your room, this hotel is far from traditional.

  • The cost: Booking a hotel in Boston during the summer months is far from cheap. The Verb was definitely not cheap, but in comparison to other hotels in the area, it was on the lower end of cost. They do charge an almost $17 resort fee for breakfast and use of the hotel facilities. If you have a vehicle and wish to park on site, the cost is $55 a night.

  • The amenities: In addition to the great location, The Verb offers great amenities. There is an outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, and an onsite Japanese restaurant. In your room is a record player with several records which you can trade out in the lobby for new ones. This gave our son a taste of rock legends such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin while chilling in our room. There is a Keurig coffee maker in your room but also a Nitro coffee tap in the lobby. Granola bars, tea, and fruit is also provided in the lobby.

Other tips:

Be aware the Verb hotel is two stories and there is no elevator. You will have to lug your belongings up and down stairs if your room is on the second floor.

Breakfast is only served until 10 a.m. and consists of coffee, juice, cereal, toasts, bagels, and oatmeal. This is served in the Japanese restaurant onsite.

In Summary:

In search of a Boston hotel? Search no further. The Verb Hotel was one of the coolest, most unique hotels we have had a pleasure of staying in. If you want a hotel experience that is different than the typical chain hotel chains, The Verb Hotel will let you be a rock star!
