Updated: June 2021. It is summer and the kids are home driving us nuts. Are you struggling to find an activity to keep you kids busy where you, too, can have fun without breaking the bank? You can spend an affordable, yet enjoyable, afternoon at Kissimmee Go-Karts.

Taking your kids to any attraction can cost you quite a bit of money. I have found a hidden gem in Kissimmee, Florida where you can spend an afternoon of fun for the whole family without spending more than $40. Kissimmee Go-Karts is located on Hwy 192 just outside of Polk County and before you get to Orlando. Located within minutes of Walt Disney World, this location is also a great place to spend the afternoon if vacationing in Kissimmee, Florida.

Steps For An Affordable Afternoon

  • Step 1: Sign up for Rakuten (formally Ebates) . If you have not already signed up, you will receive $10 cash back just for signing up. Any future purchases online from hotel accommodations, to your daily Amazon purchases, to this Groupon for Kissimmee Go-Karts, will give you cash back in your pocket.
  • Step 2: After you have signed up for Rakuten, search for Groupon as one of the stores. This will open a browser through Rakuten to log into Groupon. If you do not have a Groupon account, I recommend getting a free account. This app provides some awesome travel and attraction deals. There is currently a Groupon for Kissimee Go-Karts. On June 18, 2021, as I am writing this post, you will get an additional 6% cash back from Rakuten for your purchase on Groupon.

In addition, many times Groupon is running deals for a percentage off a Groupon deal. Make sure to check your notifications before purchasing the Groupon.

How to Save Money at Kissimmee Go Karts?

Purchase the Groupon

Should you purchase the Groupon for Kissimmee Go-Karts, you can choose one of two options. In the past, the Groupon included money to spend in the arcade, however the last year that has not been an option. If you have more than one child, you can purchase multiple Groupons to accommodate the amount of members in your family. It should be noted that you will need to purchase the Groupon two hours prior to attempting to use the Groupon.

Join Their Email List

Another easy way to save money, many times even more money than the Groupon, is to use one of the wristband specials Kissimmee Go Karts sends to your email. Regularly, they email some great savings. Recently we purchased a 10 lap wristband for $12 directly from their website. Three of us could enjoy go-carting for less than $40.

Our review

The go karts are older, however they have recently painted them which has given them a fresh look.

The Go-Karts and Track

We have purchased this Groupon deal as well as wristbands from their website on multiple occasions. We definitely feel as if this is an affordable afternoon where the whole family has a great time.

The go-kart track and karts are older however they have recently painted them giving the carts a fresh look. In addition, they have added some new carts. The track is completely outdoors. The weather will need to be nice in order to drive the go-karts. Be prepared that the track is a bit bumpy in areas and is not brand new, however it is very lengthy and is super fun. Their website states they are the “Home of the LARGEST track in Central Florida (almost 1 mile long) where you race over and under 3 bridges on the fastest karts around! The exciting Super Track course is designed for drivers of all ages and experience.”

"Home of the LARGEST track in Central Florida (almost 1 mile long) where you race over and under 3 bridges on the fastest karts around! The exciting Super Track course is designed for drivers of all ages and experience."

There are rules for the track:

  • Super Track Rules
    • Minimum Rider height is 54 inches.
    • Must be at least 11 yrs old to drive solo on the stock karts.
    • Must be 16 years old with a valid drivers license to drive the Indy Karts.
    • Children must be 38 inches tall and under 11 years old to ride as a passenger in a Double Seater.
    • Must be at least 18 years old to drive a Double Seater.

They do have a small go-kart track for young racers. This could be purchased on site as there is not a Groupon for this option.

  • Rookie Track Rules
    • Must be 5 to 10 years old to drive
    • $4 for Four Minutes

The Arcade

There is an arcade on site. You can purchase a card that will carry your balance. Swipe the card to play the game. Any tickets for game prizes will also be loaded onto this card as well. If you win tickets from playing the arcade games, you give your card with the tickets loaded on it to the attendant and trade in the tickets for prizes.

There is a wide assortment of video games suitable for all ages from small child to adult.

Kissimmee Go-Karts has a good sized arcade with a variety of games.

Alligators

They will give you a small bag with about four pellets to feed the alligators. The alligators are in a small pond and you can put the pellets onto fishing poles to get the food directly in front of the gators. Sometimes they are hungry, and many times they are not. The excitement of feeding the gators depends on the day.

Affordable Afternoon at Kissimmee Go-Karts

I recommend Kissimmee Go-Karts. If you purchase the deal from Groupon, you can spend less than $30 on an enjoyable experience that is not only fun for your kids, but that you will enjoy as well. Though the track and the go-karts are older, this will not take away from the experience. We have purchased this Groupon multiple times, and we will continue to do so in the future.
