Strawberry season in Florida typically runs between December and March. You can pick your own strawberries at the height of their ripeness during this timeframe. Central Florida Strawberry Farms
This is a list of strawberry farms located in the Central Florida/Tampa Bay area. Be sure to check the farm’s website and Facebook pages to see when they are open. The u-pick season at some farms ends sooner than others. Many farms are open only during certain months of the year as well as certain days and times of the week.
Hunsader Farms
Location: 5500 County Road 675, Bradenton, Florida 34211
A fun day trip, Hunsader Farms is open starting in September through June. In addition to strawberries, Hunsader Farms has a playground, farm animals with petting zoo (five dollars per person), farmers market, fall festival, pumpkin event, U-Pick Sunflowers, and more are all available at the Hunsader Farm.
Tomatoes, pumpkins, corn, okra, peas, and other summer vegetables may be found at their produce market.

Central Hill Farm U-Pick
Location: 2949 Center Hill Road, Bowling Green, Florida 33834
Central Hill Farm U-Pick features seasonal u-pick fresh strawberries in the Winter months as well as a wide variety of produce throughout the year. You will need to call them to determine if they are open as they do not regularly update their Facebook page nor do they have a website.

Mick Farms
Location: 4261 Canoe Creek Road, St. Cloud, Florida 34772
Mick Farms is located South of Lake Nona on 32 acres. Their collection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, pickles and various canned goods, plants, and farm-stand T-shirts are fantastic. They also grow sunflowers, u-pick pumpkins, and u-pick strawberries.
JG Ranch
Location:17200 Wiscon Road, Brooksville, Florida 34601
Open seasonally, JG Ranch is a family-operated farm which boasts it is your one-stop-shop for all your farm-to-table goods. Check out their website and Facebook page for details.
Oak Haven Farms and Winery
Location: 32418 Avington Road, Sorrento, Florida 32776
Oak Haven Farm and Winery is a u-pick strawberry farm, vineyard, and onsite winery. Oak Haven Farms is open to the public during the season from early December to mid-late March depending on the weather conditions. Strawberry shortcake, sundaes, and u-roast hot dogs are available at their country kitchen starting in late December and ending in March.

Pappy’s Patch U-Pick Strawberries
Location: 675 Florida Avenue, Oviedo, Florida 32765
Pappy’s is a family owned and operated strawberry patch located just outside Orlando open between December – April. Check availability on their Facebook page or website before going. They advertise they have no set days of operation and will advertise and are open every day they have berries.
Bekemeyer Family Farm
Location: 1055 E Story Rd., Winter Garden, Florida 34787
Check the Bekemeyer Family Farm’s Facebook page for dates to U-pick their strawberries which use a vertical hydroponics system. After harvesting your own strawberries, you can pick oranges, limes, lemons, pomelos, and microgreens.

Upicktopia
Location: 19125 Phillips Rd.Masaryktown FL 34604
Upicktopia is a winery that also grows strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, a large assortment of vegetables and more. Check their Facebook page but they during season they are normally open 9 am to 5 pm Friday through Sunday for U-pick.
Starkey Blueberry Farm
Location: 10730 Lake Blanche Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34655
Don’t let the name fool you! Starkey Blueberry Farm does have u-pick strawberries normally starting in December until they run out of berries.
Southern Hill Farms
Location: 16651 Schofield Road, Clermont, Florida 34714
Located on 120 acres, this farm grows blueberries, peaches, strawberries, sunflowers and zinnias. They offer U-Pick in the Spring and a Fall festival with events. In addition to strawberry U-Pick, they also do u-pick blueberries, peaches, and u-pick sunflowers.

Favorite Farms is open seasonally between December and March. Check their Facebook page for the opening dates, hours, and prices for U-pick strawberries.

The Plant City Strawberry Festival
The Plant City Strawberry Festival is an eleven day event and one of the largest festivals celebrating the strawberry. This festival begins at the beginning of March and lasts two weeks. During the Plant City Strawberry Festival, Plant City becomes a hub of strawberry picking. Plant City is centrally located in between Orlando and Tampa making it an accessible location for both residents of Plant City and surrounding areas to partake in U-Pick activities. For those specifically interested in U-Pick Strawberry Farms, there is no better location as Plant City features a number of strawberry farms that offer some of the best strawberries but other fruit as well.

Keel & Curley Winery, located in Plant City, between Lakeland and Tampa, Florida, has been making some of Florida’s top wines since 2003. U-Pick events are held during the fruit’s peak season to include Plant City Strawberries (U-Pick), Blueberries (U-Pick), and U-Pick Peaches.
Strawberry Passion Organic Farm
Location: 11722 Tom Folsom Road, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592
Strawberry Passion Organic Farm is a 100% Certified Organic Farm. They boast growing an assortment of veggies as well as organic strawberries during various seasons. They are open seasonally for strawberry U-Pick in March / April.
Spivey Farms
Location: 6101 South County Road 39, Plant City, Florida 33567
Located in Plant City, Florida, Spivey Farms opens later after the commercial season. This is normally not until March. It is recommended to check Facebook for details as to their opening date, times, and prices.
Fancy Farms Market
Location: 3838 Fancy Farms Road, Plant City, Florida 33566
Located on the Corner of Dranefield Road and County Line Road on the outskirts of Plant City, the Fancy Farms Market is open between December and June. Their market includes fresh produce, fruit desserts, strawberry milkshakes, as well as various other goods for purchase. U-Pick Strawberries open seasonally in February/March. 5K Farms Organic U-Pick
Location: 6302 South County Road 39, Plant City, Florida 33567
5K Farms is an organic strawberry farm located in Plant City. They offer strawberry pick-up, pre-orders, and U-Pick strawberries. They have several varieties of strawberries to include pineberries or whiteberries {pinkish-white strawberries}.
North Florida Strawberry Farms
If you are located in North Florida, here is a list of all of the U-Pick Strawberry Farms typically open starting in February and March. Brown’s Farm
Location: 18120 NE State Road 26 Hawthorne, FL.
Located approximately 90 minutes southwest of Jacksonville, Brown’s Farm has been in business for almost 80 years and boast an impressive 500+ acres. U-pick strawberries are scheduled to open in mid to late March.
Rogers Farm
Location: 3831 NW 156th Ave., Gainesville, FL, 32609.
Rogers Farm is located north of Gainesville, and offers u-pick strawberries as well as already harvested produce.
Sweet Berries of Crawford Farms
Location: 1175 NW 43rd Ave, Lawtey, Florida
You should check their Facebook page for u-pick availability as well as bring your own containers to collect the berries. Sweet Berries of Crawford Farms offers u-pick strawberries as well as other fruits and vegetables for sale.
Towers Family Farm
Location: 487 Millican Rd. Palatka, FL 32177
In 2020, Towers Family Farm added a small U-Pick strawberry patch to their farm. Their hours of operation are from 11am to 4pm, and closed Monday and Thursday.
