Because I wanted a resource my child found fun but also that I could reuse in order to reinforce concepts, I created some easy to use worksheets to trace numbers which I have since shared with my friends and family. Now I would love to share these free printables with you!
Why Is Tracing Important?
According to Reference.com, “Tracing can help children develop fine motor skills, which can aid them with other tasks, such as learning to write.” It is an important activity because it “helps students with developmental disabilities to develop math and language skills.”
By following the dotted lines will help a child learn good pencil control needed for writing. In addition, tracing activities promotes small motor muscles to develop in younger kids.
